Living, studying, and working across different cultures, healthcare systems, and healing philosophies shaped the way I understand health: not as a collection of isolated symptoms, but as something we build through the interplay of our physiology, mind, behaviors, environment, lifestyle, and lived experience.

Having worked my own way back to health, I learned that lasting health begins with understanding: understanding our own patterns as individuals, and understanding ourselves as women. Female physiology is different, and women’s health deserves to be understood through a lens that recognizes those differences while still seeing the whole person.

Today, my work brings all of these perspectives together to help women understand their bodies, support areas of suboptimal function, build the foundations of lasting health, and turn that knowledge into something they can live and carry forward — the kind of knowledge and wisdom I wish I had when I began my own journey.

I started with the mind. My body taught me to look deeper.

Japan

France · Age 17 → Japan · A decade

At 17, I left France on my own and spent the next decade of my life in Japan.

After a few years working in Japanese, French, and English translation, I put myself through university studying Psychology, while continuing to work and adapt to a different language, culture, and way of thinking. Along the way, I became very good at doing.

Working. Studying. Thinking. Achieving. Pushing through.

I understood a great deal about the mind. I understood much less about listening to my body.

After graduating, I carried that same pace into the Japanese corporate world, until eventually my body could no longer keep up. Burnout left me exhausted, foggy, and unable to function the way I always had.

For the first time, the mind-body connection was no longer something I understood intellectually. I was experiencing it in my own body.

I changed my work, my priorities, and the way I cared for myself. Slowly, I became functional again.

But functional wasn't the same as well.

Digestive issues. Debilitating PMS. Fatigue. Weight changes. Mood swings. Emotional overwhelm.

I had made progress, but I still didn't understand why my body was struggling in so many seemingly different ways.

What if these weren't separate problems, but different pieces of a bigger picture?

Switzerland · Traditional European Medicine

That question eventually brought me back to Europe, and to Switzerland, where I encountered French and German naturopathic traditions alongside a distinctly Swiss approach. There, I spent three years training professionally in Traditional European Medicine (Naturopathy), bridging traditional healing wisdom with biomedical and clinical sciences.

What I was learning wasn't something I wanted to understand only in theory. I began applying these principles to my own life, changing the way I nourished, supported, and listened to my body, while creating conditions in my lifestyle and environment that better supported its own regulatory and healing processes.

And my health changed with it.

My digestion improved. My debilitating PMS disappeared. My weight stabilized. And perhaps most importantly, I no longer felt powerless in my own body.

My lens widened.

From the mind

→

to the whole person.

From individual symptoms

→

to patterns.

From asking what was “wrong”

→

to understanding the conditions that help create and sustain health.

I began to understand the person, not just the pieces.

Canada + United States · Specialization

Women's health gave that work a focus.

After completing my training in Switzerland, my journey continued through Canada and the United States, where I continued to deepen my knowledge through further specialized training, practice, and a clinical internship, gradually focusing my work more deeply on women’s health.

The more I learned, the clearer it became that understanding a woman requires understanding both her individual patterns and the female physiology within which they unfold. Our cycles, hormones, metabolism, digestion, nervous system, mood, energy, and changing life stages do not exist in separate boxes.

cycles · hormones · metabolism · digestion · nervous system · mood · energy · life stages

Neither do we.

I continued specializing in women’s health, functional and integrative nutrition, functional testing, and biomarker-informed care, and became a Certified Fertility Awareness Educator, deepening my understanding of the menstrual cycle as a window into female physiology and the physiological signs a woman can learn to observe in her own body.

But as my knowledge grew, practicing taught me something education alone could not.

You can give someone excellent information and still not create meaningful change.

Knowledge

She can understand that sleep matters. That nourishment matters. Movement. Stress. Digestion. Boundaries.

And still wonder:

How am I supposed to make all of this work in my actual life?

Integration

That missing piece led me deeper into behavior change and health coaching, eventually becoming a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach.

Because knowledge matters.

But knowledge has to become livable.

Then I noticed another pattern.

The health world is very good at giving us the next thing to do.

The next supplement.

The next protocol.

The next diet.

The next technique.

The next sophisticated laboratory test.

These tools can absolutely have value. I use many of them in my own practice.

But over time, I noticed how easy it is to become so focused on finding the next answer that we overlook the ground it needs to stand on.

The foundations

Sleep. Nourishment. Digestion and elimination. Blood sugar. Stress response and resilience. Movement and recovery. Environment. Emotional wellbeing. The rhythms and behaviors of everyday life.

They may sound basic, but they shape the conditions in which our physiology functions every day.

I also became wary of the idea that there is always only one root cause waiting to be discovered.

Health is often more layered than that, with multiple underlying factors interacting and contributing to patterns of dysfunction.

This is why I believe in putting the foundations in place before investigating more deeply.

Rooted in Traditional European naturopathy and informed by bioregulatory principles, my approach favors natural, gentle, and non-invasive practices that work with the body's innate capacities for regulation, adaptation, and repair.

The intention is not to force physiological processes, but to understand what the body needs and support the conditions that allow it to function at its best.

Think of it like peeling an onion.

We begin with the layers we can see.

We strengthen the foundations.

We observe what changes.

And when something still deserves attention, we go deeper with a clearer question.

That became the philosophy behind Healing Wisdom.

Healing Wisdom

Foundations first. Then we follow the questions.

Healing Wisdom is the foundational program at the heart of my practice.

It brings together health education, integrative health consultations, and health coaching to help you understand how your body works, establish your own baseline, recognize your patterns, and translate what you learn into everyday life.

You learn to pay attention to both what you feel and what you can measure.

Your symptoms matter.

Your history matters.

Your observations matter.

Your behaviors and environment matter.

And laboratory data can matter too.

They are different pieces of the same puzzle.

From there, the path becomes more individual.

Sprout — Strengthen

01

Strengthen

For some women, strengthening these foundations is enough to restore greater balance and create the conditions their body needs to regulate, repair, and heal.

Renewal arrows — Practice

02

Practice

Others need more time and coaching to continue practicing what they have learned, build sustainable habits, navigate obstacles, and integrate those changes into everyday life.

Magnifying glass — Investigate

03

Investigate

Others still have patterns that deserve deeper investigation through Integrative Health Consultations, with nutrition, lifestyle, botanical, somatic, and other therapeutic support adapted as their needs evolve.

For women who wish to continue their journey after Healing Wisdom, specialized programs offer the opportunity to explore particular aspects of their health in greater depth, bringing together advanced health education, individualized integrative consultations, and ongoing coaching.

And sometimes, testing can help us answer a specific question.

Depending on what we are trying to understand, this might include:

Blood chemistry

Thyroid or iron panels

HTMA

GI-MAP

MRT

DUTCH

Organic Acids Testing

Other targeted assessments when appropriate

I don’t believe in testing simply because a test exists.

I want to know:

What are we trying to understand?

A laboratory result can give us valuable information. But it is still only one piece of the puzzle.

You are the context that gives that number meaning.

Where we begin should reflect that, too.

And while every woman’s needs are different, the work begins with the same intention: to better understand your body and build the foundations that support your health.

Three ways to begin

Depending on your needs, your questions, and where you are in your health journey, there are three ways to begin, each offering a different way to explore and support your health.

Health is a journey. So is change.

Everything I have studied, practiced, and experienced has shaped a simple progression in the way I work:

Integrate

01 · Understand We begin by understanding your body and its patterns. You learn to pay attention to both what you feel and what you can measure.

02 · Build We build the foundations that support health. This is why I believe in putting the foundations in place before investigating more deeply.

03 · Investigate We investigate further when there is a meaningful question. I don’t believe in testing simply because a test exists.

04 · Support We adapt support to what we learn. Our bodies change. Our lives change. Our needs change.

05 · Integrate We work to integrate those changes into everyday life. Because knowledge matters. But knowledge has to become livable.

We begin by understanding your body and its patterns. We build the foundations that support health, investigate further when there is a meaningful question, adapt support to what we learn, and work to integrate those changes into everyday life.

Because I don’t see health as a finish line we finally reach when we have done everything “right.”

Our bodies change. Our lives change. Our needs change.

And meaningful change takes practice.

Awareness. Repetition. Curiosity. Consistency. Adjustment.

Like a muscle, it develops through use.

Healing can involve changes in the body, but it can also change the relationship you have with your body.

You begin noticing things you once overlooked.

Understanding patterns you once found confusing.

Making choices with more context.

Knowing when to act, when to investigate, and sometimes when not to add another thing.

The woman who begins the journey is not quite the same woman who finishes it.

Not because she has finally perfected her health.

Because she knows herself differently.

Lasting health begins with understanding.

My role is to bring education, perspective, clinical reasoning, structure, and guidance.

You bring something no textbook, practitioner, or laboratory test ever can:

Your body.

Your experience.

Your observations.

Your choices.

Together, those pieces help us make sense of the bigger picture.

Because I don’t want you to spend your life chasing the next answer.

I want you to understand yourself well enough to recognize what matters, make informed choices, and carry that knowledge forward as your body and life change.

Your body has a story.
Learn how to understand it.
